I am sure, faithful readers, that any of you with children would not be as stupid or as irresponsible as this woman. Was food really that important that yu would do something this boneheaded considering what has happened to a similarly aged bot earlier this year? Considering all the things that is happening to kids this year? WHY would you allow this to happen, allow this situation to unfold? I have to say that she earns the "Today's Idiot" title. Unfortunately, her son had to pay the price for her to earn it.
Ciao.
Oh yeah, lest we forget, DP for the AH that did this.

Sex Crimes Unit
416-808-7474
On Monday, July 4, 2005, at approximately 4:30 p.m., an eight-year-old boy went into a restaurant in the Eglinton Avenue West and Oakwood Avenue area to purchase some food, while his mother waited in her car outside. Due to traffic congestion, the boys mother was forced to move her car from the front of the restaurant.
It is alleged that:
- while the mother was out of sight, circling her car around the block, the boy emerged from the store,
- a vehicle that looked like his mothers honked twice and pulled over to the side of the road,
- the boy opened the car door and was pulled inside by the driver who drove to a nearby lot where the boy was sexually assaulted.
- the man was driving a cream-to-champagne-coloured two-door car with tinted windows. The car had a baby seat in the rear behind the driver and a maple leaf air freshener hanging from the rear view mirror.
The man is described as white with no accent, middle-aged, short hair dyed red with a black moustache. At the time of the attack, the man was wearing a Toronto Blue Jays baseball hat, a long-sleeve T-shirt, dark blue on the back and light blue on front with a red one-inch horizontal stripe across the front. His watch had a brown strap and a small round steel face. During the assault the man may have suffered a cut or scrape to his forearm.
Police are reminding parents to keep a close eye on their young children at all times.
The Toronto Police Service Sex Crimes Unit is requesting the assistance of the public in identifying this man. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sex Crimes Unit at 416-808-7474 or Crime Stoppers at 416 222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.222tips.com.
