The Toronto Police Sex Crimes Unit is requesting the assistance of the public in identifying a man wanted for the alleged Sexual Assault with a Weapon.

On Sunday, July 3, 2005 at approximately 7 p.m., a 22-year-old woman reports attending a coffee shop in the Toronto area to meet a man for a job interview.

It is alleged that:

-the man, using the name Ricardo Jacobson, advised that he was a New York City based Vice President working for a large multi-national corporation with interests in Toronto,

- the executive assistant position was to include extensive training and international travel,

-when she arrived at the coffee shop, she waited outside in her car,

- the man arrived in a car and pulled up next to her,

-the woman entered his car, at which time he produced a black handgun and locked the car doors,

-he drove the woman to Thomson Memorial Park, located at Lawrence Avenue East and Brimley Road, where she was sexually assaulted.

The suspect is described as of East Indian descent, 5’10”, 30 - 45 years of age, clean shaven, chubby face, pot belly, with square tipped finger nails. He spoke fluent articulate English, with an American accent, which at times changed from British to Canadian.

He was wearing a brown check suit, yellow shirt and a cheap digital watch. His vehicle is described as a four door, tan or gold coloured SUV, possibly 1994 to 1999, with dark tinted windows.

The Toronto Police Service would like to warn women that this man is extremely persistent and manipulative in his approach. He could be using any sort of ruse to lure women away from a place of safety, which puts them at risk.

Anyone with information is requested to contact the Sex Crimes Unit at 416-808-7474 or Crime Stoppers at 416 222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.222tips.com.
