The Liberals will NEVER change this law.
They believe that it is a fair and just law that protects underage offenders.
As do many of the high level bureaucrats in the justice system.

It won't happen because there is no support for it to happen. The best we can hope for is for some lipservice to be paid towards it.

The Liberals know that this is not a critical election issue for them. People who vote liberal will vote liberal despite this issue.

Is it important enough for you to change your vote?

Probably not.

It is not enough to change my vote when the alternative is an idiot in blue. Have you all seen the latest round of "newsroom" like commercials? Did you catch that crap about the reduction in the GST? Uhm, have we all forgotten that the GST currently funds all the programs that we bitch about not wanting cut? Have we truly forgotten it was his misgotten sheep-banging party that put it in play in the first place?

I will never vote Bloc because they are racist and are trying to break up Canada. I will never vote Conservative because they have racist undertones (and don't say no unless you forgot who they merged with). I may one day vote Green if they got it together or NDP if they showed some true Grit (excuse the pun).

I would not count out the Liberals actually doing something about the issue just yet. They MUST win Ontario but they MUST win Toronto most of all. And right now, we are plain tired of ducking. Something must be done.

well, to be honest, i wont say which one but i am actualy one of the youths above that has been charged, and i noticed a comment by someone that the adult is being charged with the robberies and the 12 year old is being charged with the gun. what are you trying to say? because you clearly dont know anything, the 12 year old is actualy the only person that had and used a gun, none of the others including myself and the 18 year old had even touched the firearm. i just had to leave this comment because if you think it was the adult or one of the other youths that actualy had the gun and put the blame on the 12 year old, you are completley wrong. please dont assume anything in this world because you wont get far with it
