What to do, what to do. As a sports purist, the simple thought concerning the Toronto Maple Leafs is that they must play hard to the end of the season and try their best to get into the second season. The business person says that the team needs to play rookies and bench riders, effectively tanking the rest of the season in order to try to secure the most possible chances in the lottery to get the treasured number one pick in the next draft.
Sorry, for me it is very simple. You get paid to play. If you don't play to win each and every game, get the f**k off the ice!!
