The 2005 Taste of the Danforth begins at 6 p.m., Friday, August 5, 2005, and continues through to Sunday, August 7, 2005.
During this event, Danforth Avenue will be closed to traffic, in both directions, from Broadview Avenue to Jones Avenue. As traffic around this area will be heavy, the Toronto Police Service strongly urges the use of TTC throughout the three days.
Road Closures
Friday, August 5, 2005, eastbound and westbound, Danforth Avenue will be closed to all traffic starting at 11 a.m. This closure will remain in effect until 11:59 p.m., Sunday, August 7, 2005.
During the event, Pape Avenue will be closed to northbound and southbound traffic at Danforth Ave. The event times are as follows:
Friday, August 5, 2005 -6 p.m., to 11:59 p.m.
Saturday, August 6, 2005 -noon to 11:59 p.m.
Sunday, August 7, 2005 -noon to 8 p.m.
This event will take place, regardless of weather conditions. Members of the public should anticipate significant traffic disruptions, with local impact on TTC surface routes.
