Anne Bancroft has died of cancer. Most people will remember her as Mrs. Robinson from The Graduate, a movie she starred in with Dustin Hoffman. Others will know her as the wife of Mel Brooks, though that diminishes her contribution to the arts to be simply referred to as the "wife". I can only hope that Mel is still a very strong person. They have been married a long while and as we have seen many times before, the spouse heart is broken so much that they too pass on to join their loved one.
Stay strong Mel. Goodbye Ms. Bancroft.
