Blogging is hard

Ok, I had to admit it, this keeping a journal (diaries are for women) is not an easy task, eve with geeky tools in a geeky medium. Sometimes, you really have nothing intelligent or useful or plain interesting to say. And, is it not the point of these things to be interesting enough that your faithful readers would WANT to return?

I love geek toys and tools, so I post on that. Limited audience though as, for example my LB, most people roll their eyes intot the back of their head when you speak about the radiation box they would rather just drop kick off their desk from time to time. I have always been in love the computer, as is the DW, so it is not a work tool, it is a hobby. Strange but true.

I love to rail about the idiots I encounter daily on the road, but short of recounting various road rage stories where I jumped on their hood, in mid flight, and forced them from the road, pulled them from the car and beat them soundly (never happened, but a man can dream right?), it can get redundant because let's face it, STUPID is not that imaginative; it tends to repeat itself.

As a parent, I have a real passion where injustices are dealt to kids. For example, this weekend (post to follow), this guy abducted his girlfriend's almost two year old child and killed the kid. It boggles the mind the kind of sick, twisted, F**K that would do such harm to an innocent child. Bring back the death penalty. Period.

Personal stuff. I'm not exactly a prude, but I have to respect DW and keep the private things private unless she says it is okay. Besides, we are so puritan, you would yawn the whole way through.

Intelligent Minutae? Heh, that would be up for debate but I will do my best to delve into the human psyche and yap on about things of general interest that I hope you will find somewhat interesting from time to time.

So, let's continue on this journey. Ciao.

Why thank you Cricket, that means a lot. I definitely find your blog very interesting. It never ceases to amaze me how all this technology both separates the world at large, but bridges the gap as well.

Prude!? You!? BWAHAHAAHHAAHAHAHAHA...

Right.

That said, there are challenges to blogging. How far is too far when talking about work? And if talking about IT, how far is too far with how much info we give out?

This is the information age. This technology allows us as individuals to pass on our technology/ideas to others. Much like the verbal methods of yore, where tales were passed down from parent to child, etc. It's all good IMO. :)

I try to stay away from work topics unless I can be appropriately vague enough. I stay away from sex because, well, it is just not that interesting. I prefer to disturb shit whenever possible. That is where the fun is at. Amazing how easy it is to disturb shit sometimes.

Dude, you're doing it wrong. :oP

Just kidding. I always love reading your blogs - especially your rants as you tend to vent and rage about the same things that I do.

Knowing you personally as well as I do (but not nearly as well as I'd like to know you and DW, by the way), I know you're an absolute HOOT to be with, a kind and welcoming spirit and extremely intelligent and funny. I always love your blog. Always.
