CRANBERRY CHUTNEY

CRANBERRY CHUTNEY
Yield:0

* 2 lb. fresh cranberries
* 1 x shallot, finely chopped
* 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
* 1 cup sugar
* 1 tsp orange zest
* Fresh juice of an orange

Directions:

1. Place cranberries, shallot, orange zest and juice in a pot, add water, just enough to cover. Bring to a boil and simmer until a jam like consistency is achieved. Remove from heat and cool.
